Our mission is to raise awareness of UV radiation and to promote research into the health effects of UV radiation. We do this by continuously improving and miniaturizing our technology with the aim of integrating our sensors into clothing and accessories. sun-a-wear should become invisible. We do this on two levels:
- Our sun-a-wear technology is a helper that makes it easy to keep track of how intensively we are exposed to the sun in everyday life.
- The second level is fundamental: we want to promote research into UV radiation and its positive and negative effects on our body. Science needs to be independent, which is why we created the Sun Awareness Institute, a foundation that supports and initiates such research.
